Mary Black returns to the TF Royal Theatre, Castlebar, after her brilliant performance at the World Fleadh in the town last summer.
She takes to the stage on Saturday next, July 31, the show starting at 8.30 p.m.
Mary, who spent the formative years of her musical career in Castlebar with the band General Humbert, has long held the attention of the followers of Irish music as one of the finest female vocalists in the world, and she never lets her fans down.
Her distinguished career has spanned over 25 years through ever-escalating success with seven platinum solo albums to her name, one of which – No Frontiers – spent 56 weeks in the Irish top 30.
Needless to say, Mary is a seminal figure in Irish musical history and one of the artists responsible for its relatively recent blossoming on a global level.
