windmillThe Dutch are a practical people and Holland is a miracle. It has been rescued from the sea.  When one thing fails the Dutch turn to something else.  It was once said that if the Irish were living in Holland they would be living many metres beneath the sea.
They have been very inventive in Holland and are wonderful engineers. They have a profound understanding of the sea.
