mary byrne albumFan reaction to the first song heard from Mary Byrne's new album was such that Sony Music Ireland agreed to make the song – entitled 'I Just Call You Mine' – available digitally before the release of the album. The song was heard on Irish radio on Monday, February 21, prompting very positive fan reaction.
Due to the phenomenal demand, 'I Just Call You Mine' has since been released in Ireland and the UK.
Later this month – on Friday, March 25, in Ireland and Monday, March 28, in the UK – the album Mine & Yours will be released.
Byrne, a star of The X-Factor last year, recorded the album in Sphere Studios, London, with legendary music producer, orchestrator and songwriter Nigel Wright.

Mine & Yours includes winning tracks familiar to viewers of The X Factor, from showstoppers like 'This Is a Man's World' and 'I Who Have Nothing' to 'The Way We Were'. The album also includes the tracks 'I Just Call You Mine' and 'Galileo', which was written by fellow Dubliner Declan O'Rourke and features on his debut album, Since Kyabram.
Every song on the album holds a special meaning for Mary; each song chosen carefully for the memory it evokes or the feeling it creates when she sings it.

The songs are also special because each is a musical stepping stone which brought Mary closer to realising her dream of recording a world class album and performing the tracks live for her fans.
"Recording this album was a dream come true," said Mary, a former Tesco employee. "I'm so grateful for all of the support I received both during and after the show.

"Nothing I'm experiencing now would have been possible without the wonderful people who picked up their phone each weekend and voted for me (on The X-Factor). I hope you enjoy listening to the album as much as I enjoyed making it."
The title of the album reflects Mary's wish to include her fans in her incredible journey. The album is Mary's homage to those fans that voted for her every week and supported her through the X-Factor experience.
