craic at the trackcraic at the trackALL roads lead to Ballinrobe Racetrack next Sunday, August 14, as Midwest Radio present “Craic at the Track” – a six-hour live music festival and family fun day between 2 and 8 pm.

 The event is expected to draw large crowds as 13 live acts will grace the stage for what will undoubtedly be a day to remember. 

 The live music will then be followed by an outdoor céilí which is guaranteed to send punters home in a good mood.

 

 The acts performing are Mike Denver, Robert Mizzell, John McNichol, Jimmy Buckley, Patrick Feeney, Dominic Kirwan, Lisa McHugh, Mick Flavin, Louise Morrissey, Brendan Shine, The Carpenters Tribute Show and The Willoughby brothers.

 The first act will be on stage at 2 p.m. sharp with the last musical act due on at approximately 5.45 p.m. 

 A second stage has been arranged with a dance floor to facilitate céilí dancers from around the region as the Annally Ceili Band will perform until 8.00 pm.

 Throughout the afternoon and evening the organisers have arranged numerous activities for the kiddies with face-painting, disco’s, magic shows, Disney characters and puppet shows being held hourly from 2pm onwards.

 All in all it promises to be a fun day for the entire family and tickets are priced at €22 for adults with student tickets available at just €10 and all under-12s are free of charge.

 Gates open at 1.00 pm sharp and those wishing to attend are asked to arrive early and avail of the ample car parking facilities at the venue.
