Susan Boyle and a special moment in Knock

Did you ever experience one of those occasions when you just knew that God had placed you in a situation where you were in exactly the right place – at exactly the right time? I believe this is what happened to me last Sunday, July 25.
I was fortunate enough to spend just over two hours sitting next to Susan Boyle in the choir area of the Basilica in Knock. She was having a few days of private pilgrimage in Knock and had expressed a wish to sing with the Knock Parish Choir during the 10.30 a.m. Mass that day.

Now that we have been put in the highest bracket and told to reduce our green house gas emissions by 20 per cent, the hunt is on to find the main culprits.
Industrial and electricity generating plants as well as transport have all been well discussed, with a penalising carbon tax introduced already on transport. Now the finger is being pointed at agriculture.
Agriculture in Ireland produces 28 per cent of our greenhouse gas emissions, mostly as methane. One cow can produce up to 500 litres of methane a day.

All theories are based on fact and by using a computer model plus historical similarities the presumptions are made.
