Mayo entrepreneurs and business people have enthusiastically seized the opportunities offered by Mayo Ideas Week.
Seminars and workshops are booking up quickly in advance. Some places are still available. Reservations are direct with the individual event organisers and the full programme is posted on www.westbic.ie, in the news section.
A few places are still available on the Leadership in Business Programme, which is aimed at CEOs and high level managers of SMEs.


This programme will be based in Belmullet and will run over the period September to December 2010 in five sessions of one-and-a-half days each, covering leadership, strategy, innovation, marketing and sales.
Each will be delivered by an experienced trainer and will incorporate presentations from and networking with highly successful Irish entrepreneurs.

Mayo Ideas Week is an initiative of the Nuálann Mhaigheo/Mayo Ideas Lab pilot project.
Mayo Ideas Lab was established by the economic working group of Mayo County Development Board, with the support of Mayo Co. Council, Údarás na Gaeltachta, WESTBIC Business and Innovation Centre for BMW Region and other agencies, to explore new ways to support innovation and idea generation in Mayo.
The project is managed by WESTBIC and overseen by a management committee made up of representatives from the following partners: Mayo County Council, Mayo County Development Board, Údarás na Gaeltachta, FÁS, Galway Mayo Institute of Technology, Innovation in Business Centre at GMIT, Mayo VEC, Mayo Education Centre, South West Mayo Development Company Ltd. Mayo North East LEADER Partnership Company Ltd. and WESTBIC.
