The extensive Castlebar Christmas lighting system will be officially switched on tomorrow (Wednesday) at 5 p.m. at Elverys Main Street. The Mayor of Castlebar, Councillor Ger Deere, assisted by Mr. Leo Shaughnessy, one of oldest residents in Castlebar, will perform the honours. There will be entertainment from members of the St. Joseph's school choir, All-Ireland finalists 2010.
All are invited to attend this festive occasion.
