New Connaught Telegraph Website now Live!
As part of our digital strategy, today we launched our new look website on www.con-telegraph.ie. It has the latest news, sport and entertainment articles posted online and ready to be shared amongst our visitors. To keep our readers up to date, we will be posting breaking news daily as it happens.
Along with our news content we have other online services that complement the newspaper such as video, podcasts, jobs, newspaper archives and ePaper service. The jobs section collates jobs from across Celtic Media Group’s catchment area of Cavan, Mayo, Meath, Offaly and Westmeath. All of our newspapers are archived online within Irish News Archives. You can access this by simply clicking on the Newspaper Archive’s tab in the main bar of the website. Our new ePaper service makes it possible to read the full newspaper online. This service is friendly to all platforms, be it a smartphone, tablet or desktop you choose to access the newspaper on. There are 4 payment options, single issue for €2, 3 months at €26, 6 months at €50 and an annual subscription at €99. You can also purchase an ePaper subscription as a gift.
Our new website is also mobile optimised, so if you view the website on your smartphone the layout changes to suit your device. It’s also worth mentioning that we have a very active Facebook page www.facebook.com/ConnaughtTelegraph and Twitter page www.twitter.com/thecontel so please log on and Like & Share our page for exclusive content and competitions. We announced yesterday on our Twitter page that our new website was launching today and we received a great response. In particular from the founder and owner of the hugely popular Joe.ie website, Niall McGarry, who is a Castlebar native, saying “Well as someone born and raised in Castlebar, reading The Connaught, I look forward to seeing it”.
