Wind warning issued

The rain lashed many parts of Mayo today, and now the wind has arrived.

Met Éireann has issued a status yellow wind warning for the entire country.

The wind, weather forecasters predict, could occasionally gust to 100 km/h in exposed areas. The alert remains in place until 3 p.m. tomorrow (Monday).

Tomorrow is set to be a fresh, windy day, with bright or sunny spells and occasional blustery showers. Highest temperatures will reach 12 to 15 degrees, in strong and gusty southwesterly winds, reaching gale force in exposed Atlantic coastal areas.
