'That plane' has been spotted off Achill

IT'S been 'plane sailing' so far.

The Boeing 767 that's en route from Shannon to Enniscrone as a centre piece in a glamping village is now off the Mayo coast.

Quirky Nights Glamping Village, who have been tracking the big move on social media, have reported that Alan Gielty has been the first to spot the barge with its unusual cargo on board off Achill Island.

Funeral director David McGowan is transporting the jet to the Sligo seaside town where he's developing an airport-themed glamping site, Quirky Glamping Village.

The previously Russian-owned plane is due to arrive in Enniscrone tomorrow.
