Medals all the way for outstanding Mayo graduate

A MAYO student has scooped seven medals at a graduation ceremony at NUI, Galway.

Dr. Clodagh McDermott from Breaffy, Castlebar, was conferred with an Honours Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, Bachelor of Obstetrics (MB, BCh, BAO) degree at the institution.

But to cap a truly memorable day, she received seven out of 14 final medical medals for her outstanding academic performance.
