New restaurant opens on Castlebar's Main Street

A NEW restaurant has opened in the former McCarthy's premises in Castlebar which closed a number of weeks ago.

In what represents a big boost for the town centre, Westport-based Kevin and Shirley Stirzaker launched their new venture, Dining Room, at Main Street over the weekend and it is now open for business.

They are wished every success with their investment.

The restaurant sector in the county town is certainly enjoying good times with the launching of a number of new establishments over the past number of weeks.
