Death of much-loved Louisburgh personality

THE death has taken place of Annie B. Casey, Casey's Shop, Main Street, Louisburgh.

The deceased was very popular in the community, having run Annie B.'s sweet shop, a place frequented by generations of Louisburgh children, for many years.

She is survived by her brother Michael (London), sister Mary Gilmartin (Mallow), sisters-in-law Betty and Maureen, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews and nieces, cousins, neighbours and friends, to whom sympathy is tendered.

She was daughter of the late Michael and Bridget (née Grady) Casey and was also predeceased by her brothers John and Paddy.

Her remains will be reposing at Sweeney's Funeral Home, Louisburgh, this evening (Thursday) from 6.30 p.m. with removal at 8 p.m. to St. Patrick's Church, Louisburgh.

Mass of the Resurrection takes place on Friday at 11.30 a.m. followed by interment in Killeen Cemetery.
