Winners at Young Environmentalist Awards

CONGRATULATIONS to the TY and fifth year students from St. Louis Community School in Kiltimagh who have been crowned All-Ireland winners in the Eco Health and Wellbeing section of the ECO UNESCO Young Environmentalist Awards in Dublin.

Well done to Aoibhinn English, Chloe Connaughton, Samantha Clarke, Aislinn English, Sabrina Cunnane, Sinead Guinelly and their coordinator Ms. Regina Anderson.

Their winning project, Making Our School a Healthier Place, took an active approach to improving the health and wellbeing of students.

Earlier this year St. Louis Community School was officially recognised by the HSE as a Health Promoting School, the first school in Mayo to achieve this status. Well done to all involved.
