It's national Men’s Health Week

AS part of National Men’s Health Week the HSE’s Health and Wellbeing Department have teamed up with Mayo Men’s Sheds to provide a free NCT event for all men.

The day will offer an opportunity to avail of a free health screen by the Irish Heart Foundation and also an opportunity to get information on a wide range of health related topics.

Some of the groups that will have information stands on the day include the Irish Heart Foundation, Diabetes Ireland, Sports Partnership, Marie Keating Foundation, Education Training Board and Mental Health Ireland.

The Castlebar event takes place on Thursday, June 15, at Castlebar Tennis Club from 1 to 5.30 p.m.

The event is free of charge and booking is not necessary. All attendees will be entered in a free draw.
