Molly before donating some hair to the Little Princess Trust

Molly's big chop for charity

EVERY girl's hair is her pride and joy and one kind-hearted little Mayo girl decided to share that joy by donating more than a few inches of her lovely locks.

Molly, age 5, recently visited Lush Hair Therapy salon in Castlebar with her mum, Deirdre Murphy Ryan, wishing to cut her hair and donate the cuttings to the Little Princess Trust.

The Trust donates real hair wigs free of charge to children across the UK and Ireland who have sadly lost their own hair due to cancer treatment and other illnesses.

Molly is the youngest person the salon has had in to donate their hair and she had the whole place in stitches while getting her lovely new look.

Congratulations to Molly who has spent the last few years growing her hair to donate it to the Little Princess Trust - an incredibly kind gesture for such a young lady to decide upon.

If you wish to donate seven inches or more of hair, to book an appointment you can call the team at Lush Hair Therapy on (094) 9025811.
