Tractor and fodder destroyed in Cong blaze

A LARGE quantity of fodder as well as a tractor were destroyed in a hayshed fire in the townland of Creevagh, Cong, over the weekend.

Several units of Mayo fire brigade fought the blaze.They were assisted in their efforts by members of the local community who turned out in large numbers to help.

Gardaí say significant damage was caused by the outbreak which is believed to have started accidentally.
