Gardaí issue warning to Mayo motorists over icy roads

An Garda Siochána has issued a warning to motorists across Mayo to drive carefully this morning.

A number of roads are in a very dangerous condition due to overnight frost.

The route between Balla and Kiltimagh is closed after a truck went off the road due to the conditions. 

A vehicle has also been involved in a collision at Pontoon after the driver lost control due to ice on the road surface.
