Launch of A Taste of Salamanca

AN exciting new cookbook by local author Caroline Boyle will be launched locally this month.

Founded in 2002, Dublin-based Salamanca Tapas Bar & Restaurant was one of the first tapas bars in Ireland and is still at the top of the list for Spanish tapas in the capital.

Now, in celebration of the restaurant’s 15th anniversary, A Taste of Salamanca will give you the ideas and tools to cook Spanish food for any occasion for your family or friends. The recipes have been adapted to make them fun and easy for you to prepare and cook at home.

Owner of Salamanca Tapas Bar and Restaurant, Caroline Boyle, is originally from Ballindine and she'll be hosting the Mayo launch of her book in the McWilliam Park Hotel, Claremorris, on Monday, March 19, at 6 p.m. You'll get to meet the author and cookbook team, enjoy a drinks reception, with raffles and some fabulous prizes to be won.

Guest speaker is Colmán Ó Raghallaigh and the compere is Gerry Glennon of Midwest Radio.

The event is in aid of Mayo Roscommon Hospice.
