Mayo face injury concerns ahead of Thurles clash as throw-in time is confirmed

MAYO'S clash against Tipperary in the second round of the All-Ireland SFC qualifiers will throw-in at 5 p.m. at Semple Stadium, Thurles, on Saturday, June 23.

Stephen Rochford's squad is unlikely to be at full-strength for the encounter as there are injury worries concerning Brendan Harrison, Donal Vaughan, Neil Douglas and Barry Moran.

Harrison is unlikely to be back in action due to his lingering hip injury while the Tipperary match may also come too soon for Donal Vaughan in his recovery programme.

Douglas and Moran are nursing hamstring and Achilles injuries, respectively, but both are understood to have a decent chance of making the panel.

Eoin O'Dooghue, who came off with a slight knock after an hour against Limerick last Saturday, has been given the all-clear to take part in training this week.
