Gardai issue appeal to help trace missing Mayo woman

GARDAÌ in Mayo are appealing for information in their efforts to trace a missing 24-year-old woman in the county.

Susanna O'Malley was last seen yesterday (Thursday) morning in Achill Sound.

She is 5' 3" tall with long dark brown hair. When last seen she was wearing a green wool jumper, black leggings, a grey jacket with a fur collar and black UGG boots.

Her family is very concerned and anxious to hear from her.

Anybody with information should contact Westport Garda Station at 098-25555.

Meanwhile, the search for her resumes from Patten's Public House, Derreens, Achill, at 9 a.m. on Friday morning.

Those volunteering to join the search are advised to wear high-viz jackets over their outdoor gear and bring a fully-charged mobile telephone as well light refreshments.
