Amy will be laid to rest on Monday

MAYO woman Amy Gill, who lost her life in a tragic road accident in Australia earlier this month, will be laid to rest on Monday.

Amy, from Coolaght, Claremorris, died following a two-car collision in Melbourne, just weeks after she started her Australia adventure.

Daughter of John and Anne Gill (nee Groonell), she is also mourned by her sisters Emma and Megan and half brother Jonathan and grandmother Mary Gill, as well as her aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and many friends.

Reposing is at Donnellan’s Funeral Home, Lower James Street, Claremorris, on Sunday evening from 4 to 8 p.m., with private removal to her residence.

On Monday morning removal is at 11 a.m. to St. Coleman’s Church, Claremorris, for funeral Mass at 12 noon. She will be laid to rest afterwards in Barnacarroll Cemetery.
