THE following are the Mayo death and funeral notices for today, Monday, July 22.

Kathleen Jennings, Ballyheane

The death has occurred of Kathleen Jennings (née Brennan), Magherafadda, Ballyheane, Castlebar, and formerly of Belcarra.

Dearly loved wife of Eamonn and loving mother of Tricia (Liddy), Castlebar, Geraldine (Molloy), Ballyheane, Cathy (Mullahy), Castlebar, Attracta (O'Donnell), Dublin, grandmother of Emma, Eva, Matt, Rian, Danielle and Aaron, sister of the late Sr. Christine (Dublin), Patrick (Belcarra), Maureen McDonagh (Breaffy), Thomas (Wales), Bridie McCarthy (New York), mother-in-law of John Liddy, Brendan Molloy, John O'Donnell and the late Micheal Mullahy.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, daughters, grandchildren, sons-in-law, brother-in-law Sean (Galway), sister-in-law Maura Hennelly (Ballinasloe), nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and many friends.

May she rest in peace.

Kathleen will repose at Ballyheane Community Centre on Tuesday 6 to 8 p.m.

Funeral will arrive at St. Patrick's Church, Ballyheane, on Wednesday morning at 10.30 a.m. for Funeral Mass at 11a.m.

Burial afterwards in Ballyheane Cemetery.

 

Amelia Cronolly, Killasser

The death has occurred of Amelia Cronolly (née Carr), Doontas, Killasser, Swinford.

Predeceased by her husband, PJ., she is deeply missed by her sons Gerry (Killasser), Vincent (Castlebar), daughter, Mary (Swinford), daughters-in-law Carmel and Catherine, son-in-law Gerry Gillespie, grandchildren Cillian, Colin, Clodagh, David, Patrick and Katie, her sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her home Tuesday from 4 until 9 p.m.

Removal to All Saints Church, Killasser, for 12 noon Mass on Wednesday, followed by burial in Killasser Cemetery.

 

Teresa Griffin, Foxford

The death has occurred of Teresa Griffin (née Stephens), Ballina Road, Foxford, and late of Cashel, Foxford.

Teresa, predeceased by her husband Frank, will be dearly missed by her daughters Caroline and Teresa, sons Damian and Michael, son-in-law Raja, daughter-in-law Margot, her cherished grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Teresa will repose at her residence on Wednesday evening from 4 o'clock with removal on Thursday morning to St. Michael's Church, Foxford, for Funeral Mass at 12 noon with the funeral proceeding to Craggagh Cemetery.

 

Maureen Sweeney, Ballycastle

Maureen Sweeney, Killeen, Ballycastle, at Ard Na Gréinne Nursing Home, Enniscrone.

Deeply regretted by her sons Martin and Peter, daughter-in-law Josephine, grandchildren David, Karen and Martin, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends, may she rest in peace.

Reposing at Lynn's Funeral Home, Killala, on this evening (Monday) from 6 p.m., with removal at 8 p.m. to St Brigid's Church, Ballycastle, to arrive at 8:30pm.

Mass on Tuesday at 12 noon, followed by burial in Ballycastle Cemetery.
