Works underway on former Mayo library ahead of sale

REPAIR works have got underway at the site of former HQ of Mayo library services in Castlebar.

The building, at Mountain View, has been vacant for a number of years, becoming dilapidated and unsightly..

Once the works have been completed, the building will be placed on the property market.

The imminent sale was confirmed by Castlebar Municipal District in a recent report circulated to elected members.
