Once upon a time an agent was sent to a town in Kerry to contact a local spy in the pay of the British secret service.
He was to meet Sen Shea. The agent was given the phrase he was to use when he contacted the agent. It was the black cow has come in from the lower meadow. It was a simple code and he remembered it easily.
He arrived by train and walked into the centre of the town. Immediately confusion greeted him. There were so many shops carrying the name Sen Shea that he did not know where to begin.
