mortgage holders ponder the futureWatching Pat Kenny's Frontline TV show on Monday, November 29, we were given another bellyful of waffle from Minister Barry Andrews and the deputy finance spokesman for Fine Gael, Brian Hayes. While Minister Andrews assured us all that the IMF bailout gave Ireland a lifeline to save the banks and the country, Pat Kenny ran to the audience to get in as many questions as possible. Questions without seeking answers serve little purpose other than to make a show last the hour

norwaySome weeks ago I listened to the Norwegian ambassador to Ireland comments on his lifestyle here in Ireland as well as an insight into life in Norway. Obviously he lives a healthy life as he either cycles or walks to his embassy on most days and only uses his official state car for official duties. He compared Ireland in many ways to Norway.
