Belmullet kept their chances of staying in division 1B alive thanks to their one-point win over Aghamore in Belmullet on Sunday.
The Erris side will have to win their last game away to Breaffy to have a chance of staying in the division. For Aghamore, it was their eighth defeat in the league and one that relegated them to division two.
At half time Aghamore led by a point, 1-2 to 0-4, with their goal coming from an Alan Freeman penalty in the 15th minute. However, Belmullet outscored their opponents by four points to two in the second half and held on for a narrow victory.
