Mayo League head coach Joseph Ndo to step down

THE Mayo League have announced that head coach Joseph Ndo is stepping down from his role.

The former Cameroon international has overseen the Mayo League side for the past two seasons, having joined in September 2016.

The chairman of the Mayo League, Padraig McHale, thanked Ndo for his contribution and dedication over the past two years.

He said: “Joseph brought in a new level of professionalism to the game here in the county. His coaching will benefit a great number of young players that he has worked with for many years to come.

“On behalf of the league, I would like to state that it has been a great pleasure working with Joseph and we wish him every success in the future.”

Mr. McHale also revealed that Brendan Kenny, a multiple Elverys Sports Super League winner with Ballina Town and former Mayo manager, will be taking charge of the Mayo League side for the next match, which will be against Galway United in the EA Sports Cup during the week commencing March 20.
