H-eir to the rescue!

THERE are GAA fans, and then there are GAA superfans that spend 10 hours getting their hair done in their county’s colours, all for the love of the All-Ireland final.

Step forward Kany Kazadi.

Kany’s spectacular act of devotion to the Mayo team has caught the eye of eir, sponsors of the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, and they would like to make it possible for her and a friend to be in Croke Park on Sunday.

eir tracked down Kany with the help of Midwest Radio, who videoed her reaction when she was told the good news this morning.

eir has already made it possible for Dublin superfan Eric McCann to support the Blues, when he won the title of ‘Biggest Sports Fan in Ireland’ through an eir Facebook competition. Eric’s TV had been hijacked by his soap-loving sisters so eir gave him a brand new TV, free eir sport and BT Sport – but most importantly, tickets to the All-Ireland final!

Here's hoping both Kany and Eric – and the legions of other fans on the path to Croker on Sunday – have a great day.
