Time for change, says Newport independent candidate

NEWPORT man Darragh McGee has announced his intentions to contest next May's local elections in the four-seat Westport Municipal District. 

He announced on his Facepage page today that after weeks of deliberating and family consultation, he has decided to run. 

Darragh elaborated: "Once the official paperwork has been completed, I will be on the campaign trail.

"I am looking forward to the challenge and would be very grateful for any support given.

"I won't change the world but I will promise a dedicated effort.

"Time for change."
