No increase in confirmed Covid-19 cases in Connaught

There has been no increase in the number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Connaught today, according to the latest Department of Health statistics.

Mayo remains on 570, Galway 481, Roscommon 381, Sligo 129 and Leitrim 83.

Of the 1,600 cases in the province, up to 91% have recovered to date.

Nationally, the Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been informed that a total of seven people with Covid-19 have died.

There have now been a total 1,670 Covid-19 related deaths in Ireland.

As of midnight on Thursday the HPSC has been notified of 28 confirmed cases of Covid-19.

There is now a total of 25,163 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Ireland.Of those, it is estimated 22,968 have recovered.
