Crossmolina Festival Group cancel Halloween events

Due to the increased public health restrictions, Crossmolina Festival Group have had to cancel their Halloween events Hocus Pocus Party and Hollywood Horror Night.

Announcing the decision earlier today, the group said: “Whilst we had gone to great lengths to ensure both events were 100% safe and contactless and had explored every possible option for the events to go ahead, the fact that our events were classed as non-essential plus the ban on travel beyond 5km meant we have no choice but to cancel.

“To say we are disappointed would be an understatement. We were, like many, looking forward to the events, especially after many weeks of planning, preparing and considerable investment.

“We would like to thank all those that sponsored the events, also the 38 volunteers who have worked tirelessly behind the scenes, and the many people throughout the county and beyond that had purchased tickets. We do hope you will all understand that in these unprecedented times, the health and safety of volunteers and guests overrides everything else."

Crossmolina Festival Group will be refunding everybody in full (including the booking fee for those who booked online). If you have a ticket and do not hear from the organisers, you can email crossmolinafestivalevents@gmail.com so that a refund can be arranged.

Refunds will take some time, Crossmolina Festival Group has advised, as both events were 90% sold out.
