306 new virus cases – 10 in Mayo

SOME 306 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Ireland, with 10 of them recorded in Co. Mayo.

The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been notified of one additional death related to Covid-19.

As of midnight Sunday, November 29, the HPSC has been notified of 306 confirmed cases of the virus, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 72,544.

Of the new cases, 108 are in Dublin, 30 in Limerick, 22 in Galway, 17 in Donegal, 15 in Wicklow, 14 in Cork and the remaining 100 cases are spread across 18 other counties.

As of 2 p.m. today, 244 Covid-19 patients are hospitalised, of which 31 are in ICU. There have been three additional hospitalisations in the past 24 hours.
