McHugh's are opening a new cafe

MCHUGHS – who have a number of outlets in Mayo – are opening a new cafe this week.

Their new cafe, located on Abbey Street in Cong, will open its doors next Friday morning.

The family have a long association with Cong and their return, with the opening of a new business in the village, has been warmly welcomed.

On their Facebook page over the weekend they announced the big opening: “'We're coming home'. Beyond excited to announce that our new Cafe on Abbey Street in the stunning village of Cong will open its doors on Friday, the 4th of December, at 10 a.m.

“This is a major 'pinch myself' moment, and especially for Dad, uncle Ray and all my family that grew up in the village over the years, and I'm pretty sure granny (Lil) and grandad (Peter) would be proud...”
