Predeceased by his parents Jeremiah and Mary, brothers Louis, Frank, Gerry and Alfo. Sadly missed by his brothers Tiny (Newport) and Ambrose (Chicago, U.S.A.), nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Mass took place today (Monday) in St. Mary's Church, Westport with burial afterwards in Aughavale Cemetery.

CHRISTINA IRWIN, BALLINA

Christina Irwin (née Tuohy), Rosserk, Ballina, and formerly of Breaffy, Castlebar.

Christina, predeceased by her parents Tom and Claire and her father-in-law John. Beloved wife of Gabriel and loving mother of Claire, Jack, Ailbhe and Frank. Sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, daughters, mother-in-law Kitty Irwin, brothers Seamus and Tommie, sisters Mary, Claire O’Dea, Helen Kilbane and Bríd Tuohy, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunt Kathleen, uncle Jimmy, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours, work colleagues and a wide circle of friends.

Mass of the Resurrection took place at St Muredach’s Cathedral, Ballina, with burial afterwards in Leigue Cemetery, Ballina.

Brother of the late Frank Gillespie, deeply mourned by his loving daughters Noreen, Eileen and Philomena, grandchildren, Kyle, Connor, Skye, Pierce, Chloe and Lily, son-in-law Andrew, sisters Chris, Anne and Kate, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon in St. Tiernan's Church, Crossmolina. Burial afterwards in Lisheen Cemetery.

Frances Carter (nee Morahan), Mountdaisy, Castlebar.

Dearly loved wife of Walter and loving mother of Marie Carter Lamb (UK), Jacqueline Coyle (Dublin), Walter (Mountdaisy), Michael (Kildare) and Francis (Mountdaisy).

She will be sadly missed by her sorrowing husband, daughters, sons, grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and many friends.

Removal from her home in Mountdaisy on Tuesday morning, March 2, at 10.30 a.m. arriving at the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar for Funeral Mass at 11.30 a.m., after which Frances will be laid to rest with her parents in Castlebar Old Cemetery.

Funeral Mass was celebrated yesterday (Sunday) in St. Patrick’s Church, Newport, followed by burial afterwards at Burrishoole Cemetery.

Retired Parish Priest Ennistymon, Co. Clare, AND Lettermore, Connemara and former teacher Coláiste Éinde, Galway. Predeceased by his brother Seamus and sister Margaret (Spelman). Sadly missed by his sisters Mary, Pauline, Eithne, Muriel and Madeline, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and his brothers in priesthood who supported his pastoral ministry in the Diocese of Galway for 55 years.

In accordance with Government guidelines a private requiem Mass will be celebrated in the Church of Our Lady and St. Michael, Ennistymon, Co. Clare on Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at 12 noon followed by burial in the church grounds.
