The following are today's Mayo death and funeral notices.

JULIA WALSH, BELMULLET

Julia Walsh (née Barrett), Shraigh East, Bunnahowen, Belmullet.

Predeceased by her husband Pat, brothers Seán, Patrick and Michael and sisters Margaret, Annie Kate and Mary. Julia will be sadly missed and forever remembered by her loving family - son Pat Joe (Shraigh East, Bunnahowen, Belmullet), daughter Ann Conway (Breaffy, Castlebar), daughter-in-law Breege, son-in-law John, only surviving sibling Bridget Barrett (Lakefield, Bunnahowen, Belmullet), adored grandchildren Patrick John, Valerie, Chris, Michael and Owen, great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Requiem Mass took place at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Glencastle, followed by burial in Glencastle New Cemetery.

JOHN PATRICK SEAN MORAN, MULRANNY

John Patrick Moran (Post) known as Sean of Newport, S/Wales and Mulranny.

Predeceased by sister Annie and brother Micky. Deeply mourned by sister Maureen and brother Patrick, brother-in-law Rodney and sister-in-law Margaret and extended family of nephews and nieces.

Funeral Mass in Church of Immaculate Conception in Mulranny on Wednesday at 11 a.m.. Burial immediately afterwards in Murrevagh Cemetery. Mass streamed live on Burrishoole parish Facebook and YouTube pages.

JOHN DOYLE, BOHOLA

John Doyle London and formerly of Clogher ,Bohola.

Predeceased by his parents, MJ and Eileen, his brothers Michael and Aidan. Sadly missed by his loving wife Mavis and his daughter Siobhán. He will be deeply mourned by his brothers Charlie, Jimmy, Tommy and by his sisters Bernadette, Anna Eileen and Caitríona. His aunt Theresa Mangan (nee Gill), his sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and extended family.

John will be sadly missed by all his good friends and neighbours in Bohola.

BID BYRNE, BALLYHAUNIS

Bid (Bridget) Byrne (O'Carroll) (née Killilea), Brooklawn, Ballyfoyle Road, Kilkenny and formerly of Bishops Hill and Ballyhaunis.

Bid (Brigid), predeceased by her first husband Eddie O'Carroll, brothers Padraic, Mark and Jarlath, sisters Marie and Vera, deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving husband Val Byrne, children Brian, John and Maeve (O'Carroll), stepchildren Derek, Val, Ronan and Laurann (Byrne), daughters-in-law Dympna and Caroline, grandchildren Edward, Eoin, Aoife, Luke, Saul and Adam, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday afternoon, July 20, at 2 p.m. in St. John's Church, Kilkenny (max 50 people), with interment afterwards in Foulkstown Cemetery.

EVELEEN HIGGINS, TOURMAKEADY

Eveleen Higgins, Laytown, Co. Meath and formerly of Tourmakeady.

Predeceased by her parents Mary B. and Jim, her brothers Seán and Jim and her sisters Eilish (Sr. Anthony) and Maura Tonge. Deeply regretted by her loving brother Tom and his wife Mary and their children Elaine, Garrett and Conor, Maura’s husband Brian Tonge and their children Colm, Fionnuala, Bernard and Eoin, Jim’s wife Suzanne and their children Padraig, Gavin, Rory, Susan and Cathy, Sean and Bridget’s children Kenneth and Doreen as well as all of their families, relatives, her wide circle of friends and her beloved dog Archie.

TOM DUFFY, BALLINA

Tom (Tommy) Duffy, Ballinlena, Carrowmore-Lacken, Ballina.

Predeceased by his parents Tom and Vera, and his brothers AJ and Peter.

Sadly missed by his sister Maisie Kearney, nephew Martin, brother-in-law Michael, sister-in-law Irene, relations, neighbours and a wide circle of friends, may he rest in peace.

Mass on Tuesday in Lacken Church at 12 noon, followed by burial in Rathfran Cemetery.

James Burke, Ballygrauige Road, Nenagh, Tipperary, and late of Partry. (Ex. Garda Siochana).

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Catherine and cherished sons John, Peter, Seamus and Kieran, grandchildren Shane, Aishling, Megan, Chloe, Heather, Rory, Eliot, Niamh and Aoife, daughters-in-law Breda, Sarah, Patricia and Josephine, nieces and nephews, cousins, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Due to current restrictions regarding Covid-19, a private family funeral will take place. James's funeral cortège will leave his home at Ballygraigue Road this Tuesday at 3 p.m. en route to his Requiem Mass in St. Marys of the Rosary Church, Nenagh, at 3.30 p.m. Burial afterwards in Lisboney Cemetery. Those who would have liked to have attended but cannot may view his Mass on nenaghparish.ie

May the souls of the deceased rest in peace.
