BILLY COEN, BALLINA

Billy Coen, Oakwood Drive, Lower Bunree Road, Ballina. Peacefully in the loving care of the staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Ballina.

Deeply regretted by his loving sisters Josie, Breege, Martha and Rosaleen, brothers Denny, Kevin, Patrick and Vinnie, in-laws, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at McGowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina on Saturday from 12 p.m. with removal at 1 p.m. to arrive to St. Muredach’s Cathedral for Mass of the Resurrection at 1:30 p.m. with burial afterwards to Leigue Cemetery, Ballina. Funeral Mass will be live streamed at www.ballinaparish.org. House private please.

ANTHONY CORRIGAN, DOOHOMA

The death has occurred suddenly, at Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar, of Anthony Corrigan, formerly of London, Bunnafolly Doohoma and most recently a resident of The Sacred Heart Nursing Home Castlebar.

Predeceased by his parents John and Annie, brothers Tommy, Michael and Jack.

Anthony will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family, his sister Mary Woods (Castlebar) and her husband Terry, his brother Marty (Adare Limerick) and his wife Ellen, his brother Padraig (Bunnafolly) and sister Maggie (Melbourne Australia).

Deeply regretted by his nephews, nieces and a large circle of family and friends. Anthony will be missed by all of the wonderful staff of the sacred heart nursing home.

The Funeral will arrive at St Pius X Church, Doohoma on Saturday at 1 o'clock, with burial afterwards in Doohoma Cemetery.

NELLIE CUNNANE, KNOCK

Nellie Cunnane (née Burke), Moycullen and St. Mary’s Road, Galway, formerly Knock. Peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Moycullen Nursing Home.

Beloved wife of the late Tom and much-loved mother of Dolores, Angela, Joseph, Dympna, Tom, Paul, Regina, Aileen, Grace and the late Jack. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by her sons and daughters and their partners, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue on Friday, October 22, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Requiem Mass on Saturday, October 23, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, Presentation Road.

FR. SEAMUS EGAN, CLAREMORRIS

The death has occurred of Fr. Seamus Egan, (Columban Fathers), St. Columban's, Dalgan Park, Navan and late of Ballybrehony, Claremorris and Chile missions. October 21, 2021, peacefully in the loving care of the staff of St. Columban's Retirement Home, Navan.

Fr. Seamus, predeceased by his parents James and Mary; sisters Philomena and Margaret (Peg) and nephew Paul Mc Commiskey. Very deeply regretted by his brothers Fr. Pat (Columban Fathers), Martin, John, Dan and Gerard; his sisters Mary, Catherine, Bernadette, Ita (New Foundland), Nuala and Josephine (Baltimore U.S.A); sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews,grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, Columban family and friends.

MARGARET GALLAGHER, CHARLESTOWN

Margaret Gallagher (née Flynn), Laveymanor and formerly of Cloonweema and Ballintadder, Charlestown. Suddenly, at Mayo University Hospital.

Predeceased by her husband James, sadly missed by her loving family daughters Ann (Freyne) and Mona (Curry), sons Michael, John, James, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Horkan Funeral Home, Charlestown, on Saturday evening from 6.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Removal on Sunday at 12.30pm to St James' Church, Carracastle, via Cloonweema, for funeral Mass at 1 p.m. followed by burial in Carracastle Cemetery. MICHAEL GERAGHTY, BELMULLET

Michael Geraghty, Barrack South, Clogher, Belmullet, peacefully at the Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar on October 20, 2021.

Predeceased by his father Vincent. Beloved son of Annie and dear brother of Bridie Frehill (New Jersey, U.S.A.), Ann Delaney (New Jersey, U.S.A.) and Vincent (New Jersey, U.S.A.). He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family - brothers-in-law Liam and Dan, sister-in-law Danielle, nieces and nephews Ryan, Conor, Megan, Ben, Julia and Michael, aunt Mary Togher (Drumreagh, Clogher, Belmullet), uncle Martin Geraghty (Australia), cousins, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Chris Hunt, October 21, 2021, Dublin, late of Achill Sound and formerly of Tallaght Community College, peacefully, at home surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his wife Eileen and baby son Sean David and son in law Aidan.
