Tony Irwin, Tallagh, Belmullet, - peacefully at Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar on Saturday the November 20, 2021 in his 90th year.

Predeceased by his parents Pat and Maria Irwin, brother Jack and wife Bridie. Tony will be sadly missed by his loving family, daughters Margaret, Mary, Nuala and Eileen, sons Patrick, Clement and Anthony, sister Maureen and brother Dermot, sons-in-law Tim, Peter, Mossy and Ciaran, daughters-in-law Emer, Imelda and Angela, grandchildren Séadhna, Isabella, Cormac, Evan, Lauren, James, Orlaíth, Donnacha, Dermot, Paddy, Fionn and Ellen, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his residence in Tallagh on Monday from 4 o’clock until 7 o’clock for neighbours and close friends only.

Funeral cortège will leave his residence on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. to arrive at the Church of the Holy Family, Carne for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Interment will take place immediately afterwards in Termoncarragh cemetery.

AMBROSE BLAINE, KILLALA

The death has occurred of Ambrose Blaine of Malahide, Dublin and Istanbul, Turkey and formerly Rusheens, Killala, Co. Mayo. Following an accident in La Paz, Mexico.

Ambrose, predeceased by his father Ambrose (Snr) and brother Alan. Beloved husband of Anne and loving father of Aoibhín, Niamh and Anna Rose. Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife, daughters, grandson Cillian, mother Philomena, brothers James, Declan and Brendan, sisters Mary and Fiona, mother-in-law Nancy, father-in-law John, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and all his aviation colleagues around the world.

Reposing at McGowan's Funeral Home, Ballina, on Tuesday evening from 3:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. Funeral will arrive to St Muredach's Cathedral, Ballina on Wednesday morning for 11 a.m. Requiem Mass with funeral proceeding to Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin, arriving for 3.45 p.m.

JOHN GALLAGHER, ACHILL

John Gallagher (Tailor) Bunanio, Currane, Achill at Mayo University Hospital.

Predeceased by his parents and sisters Martha and Mary. Deeply regretted by his brothers Mick and Patrick, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Cassadh an Taoille, Currane, on Monday evening from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral Mass on Tuesday in Our Lady Queen of the Universe Church at 12 noon, with burial afterwards in Polranny Cemetery.

JOHN NEVIN, BALLA

John (Jake) Nevin, November 20, 2021, Brize, Claremorris and late of the Rendezvous Bar, Balla, peacefully at his residence, in the loving care of his family.

Predeceased by his brothers, Benny, Christy and Micheal.Deeply regretted by his loving wife Maureen, sons John and Declan, brothers Gay, Martin and Jarlath, sisters Joan (Quirke), Delia (Collins), Mary (Layden), daughters-in-law Sandy and and Nadia, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren Tara and Alexandria, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.

MARY BRENNAN, CLAREMORRIS

Mary Brennan (née Moran) Castlemacgarret, Claremorris, peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband John and son Christy.

Mary will be sadly missed by her family Seamus, Teresa, Marion, Padraic, Kevin, Vera and Dympna, her sisters Ann and Teresa, sisters-in-law Nora, Teresa and Ann, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.

Remains will leave her residence on Monday morning to arrive at the Church of the Sacred Heart Crossboyne for funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Crossboyne Cemetery.

BEETIE HUGHES, ATTYMASS

The death has occurred of Beetie (Bridget) Hughes (née Gallagher), Attymass P.O, Ballina, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at the residence of her daughter and son-in-law Ann and Eugene.

Beetie, predeceased by her husband Ted, her brother Mickey and her sisters Alice and Mary. Beetie will be sadly missed by her heartbroken family Mary, Michael, Patricia, Ann, Andrea and Sandra, her sister Anne, her 11 adored grandchildren and her precious great-granddaughter Ella Bridget, her sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, nieces, nephews, in-laws, relatives, neighbours and friends.

MARY BRIDGET MCDONAGH, BALLINDINE

The death has occurred of Mary McDonagh, Knockdoemore, Claregalway, Co. Galway, formerly of Sea Road, Sligo and Ballindine. Peacefully on November 18, 2021 in Brooklodge Nursing Home after a short stay.

Mary was predeceased by her husband and carer Jimmy in September and they are now reunited. Mary was dearly loved by her sons James (deceased), John and Brendan, daughter in law Maria, sisters, Teresa (deceased) Una, Cathy and Josephine, brother, Bert (deceased), sisters-in-law, to brother in law, nieces and nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

EAMON MCELWEE, BALLINA

Eamon McElwee, LittleHill, Ballymore Eustace, Co. Kildare, formerly of Ballyroan Road, Rathfarnham and Ballina. November 18, 2021.

Eamon passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family after a long illness.

Husband of the late Kay (Née Anderson). Eamon will be sadly missed by his loving family, daughter Susan, son Eamon, grandchildren Rachel and Mark, great-grandchildren Luke, Megan, Cian, Chloe, Sophia and Keela, brother Frank, sister Kathleen (in Ballina), brother Ruby (Galway), sisters-in-law Lillian and Aggie, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, and many, many friends.

Sara Bernadette McHugh (née McHugh), Lehinch, Hollymount. Bernadette died peacefully at Hollymount Nursing Home.
