Laura has the Mayo Midas touch when it comes to big money winners

Castlebar shop owner Laura Scriney’s winning streak is continuing.

In the past week she sold a Scratchcard which netted the lucky purchaser a mouth-watering €50,000.

Last January her premises, Laura’s XL Convenience Store sold a Lotto Jackpot ticket which realised €29 million for the purchaser who has opted to remain anonymous.

It was Irish Lotto’s largest ever jackpot.

Laura, who opened her store at Hopkins Road, near Castlebar Town Centre, in September 2019, has enjoyed significant luck Lotto wise since.

Two months after she opened a customer won a sizeable amount on Winning Streak. Last July the shop sold a winning Telly Bingo ticket worth €60,000.

Under previous management, Laura’s shop also sold a ‘lotta’ big winners.

About the latest €50,000 win, Laura commented: “It’s a nice win for somebody. Our winning streak as regards Lotto and Scratchcard wins is thankfully continuing."
