New lighting on greenway link to estate in Mayo's county town

THE installation of public lighting along the Turlough greenway linking to the Summerfield housing estate has been welcomed by Councillor Ger Deere.

“This is will be of huge benefit to the hundreds of residents from the estate that use the route into town and other estates,” commented Councillor Deere.

“I had made several representations and placed a motion last year to have these works carried out.”
