Mayo winners at the Irish Restaurant Awards are revealed

A number of Mayo establishments have enjoyed success in the provincial final of the annual Irish Restaurant Awards.

The Calvey Family of Calvey's Achill Lamb has been presented with the Local Food Hero Award for the county.

Clare Island Oven won the award for Best Sustainable Practices.

The winner of the Innovator of the Year Award for Mayo is Nevin's Newfield Inn, Tiernaur, Newport.

The Best Free From accolade went to Servd, Westport.

The Best Emerging Irish Cuisine Award was presented to The Pantry and Corkscrew, Westport.

The Mayo winner of the Best Restaurant Manager is Eva Ivanova of Sage, Westport.

The winner of Best Wine Experience is No. 8 Wine and Tapas, Westport,

Rua Cafe & Deli, Castlebar, is the winner of Best Café in Mayo.

Olive's Seoul Food, Claremorris, secured the Best World Cuisine Award.

Quay West, Ballina, scooped the Best Newcomer Award.

The Old Grainstone, Westport, is the Mayo Pub of The Year.

The Creel, Westport, won the Best Casual Dining Award.

Barry Ralph, House of Plates, Castlebar, was named Best Chef.

Cronin's Sheebeen, Westport, took the Best Gastro Pub Award.

Best Customer Service Award was secured by Knockranny House Hotel, Westport.

The Wildes at the Lodge at Ashford Castle, Cong, took the award for Best Hotel and Guesthouse Restaurant.

The award for the Best Restaurant was presented to Arno’s Bistrot, Westport.

All of the winners go forward to the All-Ireland finals on May 15 in Clayton Hotel in Dublin.
