Mayo have injury worries ahead of big clash with Kerry
by Aiden Henry
Mayo manager Kevin McStay has a number of injury concerns as he prepares his side to face Kerry in their opening All-Ireland SFC round-round clash in Killarney on Saturday, May 20, at 3 p.m.
Among the players receiving treatment are captain Paddy Durcan, centre-back Conor Loftus and defender, Jack Coyne.
Reports indicate it will be a race against time to have the trio available for the encounter at Fitzgerald Stadium.
With the new format to qualify for the All-Ireland quarterfinals, I am sure McStay and his management will not be taking any chances with players who have injury issues.
The round robin games against Louth or Dublin and Cork are equally important.
