Stephen Sweeney, Clondalkin, Dublin, and formerly of Mount Jubilee, Geesala.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Úna and his brothers and sisters Annie Maria, Packie, Mary, Eileen, Nellie, Tony, Kathleen, his twin brother Phil and Paul.

Stephen will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his loving sons Brian, Joe and Jarlath, daughter Máire, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, his 12 grandchildren, sisters-in-law Eileen and Pat, brother-in-law Joe, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, and friends.

Reposing at his home on Monday May 29 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Removal to Church of the Immaculate Conception, Clondalkin Village on Monday evening arriving at 8 p.m.

Funeral Mass on Tuesday May 30 at 11.30 a.m. followed by burial in Newcastle Cemetery.

Mortimer Hughes, Hollymount

Mortimer (Mort) Hughes, Bancroft, Tallaght, and formerly of Hollymount.

Beloved husband of Anne and loving dad to Conor, Niall and Meadhbh. Mortimer will be sadly missed by his family, sons-in-law Alan and Barry, daughter-in-law Sauyith, his adored grandchildren Beibhinn and Mila, brother, sisters, in-laws, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his residence on Monday May 29 from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Removal to St Mary’s Priory Church, Tallaght Village, on Tuesday May 30 arriving for 11 a.m. Funeral Mass and afterwards to Newlands Cross Crematorium.

Nancy Fadden, Castlebar

Nancy Fadden (née Queenan) Mountgordon, Westport Road, Castlebar, and formerly of Ballymayock, Lahardane.

Sadly missed by her loving husband James, daughters Mary, Ann Carmel and Irene, sons Kevin and James, sister Margaret, brother Willy, grandchildren, great-grandson, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours, friends, management staff and residents of the Queen of Peace Nursing Home.

Remains reposing at The Coady Funeral Home on Monday from 6 p.m. with removal at 7:30 p.m. to The Church of The Holy Rosary, Castlebar arriving at 8 p.m.

Requiem Mass Tuesday at 11 a.m. with funeral afterwards to Breaffy Cemetery.

Edward Bourke, Foxford

Edward Bourke, Tavanaghmore, Foxford.

Edward was predeceased by his parents Edward and Annie, his brothers Terence, Tom, John and Dick and his sister Mary.

Edward will be dearly and lovingly missed by his brother Anthony and his sister Bridget Gallagher, his nephews, nieces, in-laws, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Edward will repose at Clarkes Funeral Home Foxford on Monday evening from 5.30 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Removal from the funeral home on Tuesday morning at 10.30 p.m. to The Church of Christ The King, Knockmore (via Lake Road) for Funeral Mass at 11 p.m. with the funeral proceeding to Cloghans Cemetery.

Kathy Bates, Clare Island

Kathy Bates (née O'Malley), Elliot Road, Edinburgh, Scotland, and formerly of Kille, Clare Island.

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters Laura and Hazel, brothers & sisters Eddie (Donegal), Joe (Clare Island), Mary (London), Trisha (Galway), & Ann (Galway), extended O.Malley family and a wide circle of friends.

Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday May 30 at 12 p.m. in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Clare Island, followed by interment of Cremains in the adjoining cemetery.

Helen Kirrane, Kilmaine

Helen Kirrane née Egan, Kilquire, Kilmaine.

Helen will be most sorrowfully regretted by her nieces in-law, nephews-in-law and all other relatives, friends, and neighbours.

Reposing at Kilmaine Community Centre on Tuesday evening from 6.30 p.m. until 7.30 p.m., followed by removal to St. Patrick's Church, Kilmaine.

Mass of the Resurrection on Wednesday at 12 p.m., with funeral then proceeding to the New Cemetery, Kilmaine.

Mary Carey, Glenhest

Mary Carey (née Walsh), Kilnamanagh, and formerly of Glenhest.

Beloved wife and best friend to George for over forty years, loving and much loved mother to Amy and Stephanie. Mary will be forever loved and dearly missed by her husband, daughters, sister Geraldine, brothers D.J. and David, son-in-law James, brothers-in-law Michael and Joe, sister-in-law Bernadette, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and her great neighbour and friend Paula.

Reposing at her residence on Wednesday evening, May 31 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Removal on Thursday afternoon June 1 to the Victorian Chapel, Mt. Jerome for a service to commemorate Mary’s life at 2.30 p.m.

A memorial service for Mary will take place on Saturday June 24 at 12 p.m. in St. Joseph’s Church, Glenhest, private burial to follow.
