Help shape the future of sport and physical activity in Mayo

Mayo County Council, together with Mayo Sports Partnership, is in the process of developing a new local sports plan – and it wants some help.

The local authority wants to hear from as many people as possible to ensure this five-year plan captures the opinions of the Mayo public and reflects local people's aspirations for sport and physical activity across the county.

Public consultation workshops are taking place in five locations across the county next month.

The workshops are taking place in Achill Sound (Saturday, November 2, 10.30 to 11.30 a.m.); Ballina (Monday, November 3, 8 to 9 p.m.); Belmullet (Tuesday, November 4, 8 to 9 p.m.); Claremorris (Wednesday, November 5, 8 to 9 p.m.); and Castlebar (Thursday, November 6, 8 to 9 p.m.).

If you can't make the meetings, you can contribute by sharing your views in online surveys for residents, youths and clubs/organisations.

By completing the survey you will also be entered into a draw to win an Elverys Sports voucher to the value of €100.
