Keith Higgins lends plenty of experience to the Mayo panel for the Connacht GAA Hurling League, which commences tomorrow.

Mayo hurling squad named ahead of Connacht GAA Hurling League

The Mayo GAA senior hurlerss first competitive game of 2022 takes place tomorrow evening (Tuesday) at 6 p.m. against Sligo GAA in the NUI Galway Connacht GAA Air Dome, Bekan.

Mayo manager Derek Walsh will be without his Tooreen GAA contingent, for the most part, for this opening game in the new Connacht GAA Hurling League.

Players from Westport, Ballina Stephenites, Ballyhaunis and Castlebar Mitchels will all get a chance to impress ahead of the opening round of the Allianz Hurling League, in which Mayo face Wicklow on February 6 in Ballina in their first Division 2B game.
