Westport winner of women's mini-marathon in Mayo

The Mayo.ie Western People Women's Mini-Marathon in Castlebar attracted several hundred participants.

Westport athlete Ellen Moran, running in the colours of Galway City Harriers, emerged as the winner.

A group of Ukrainian runners took part in the event and carried their national flag.

The children's race also attracted a large entry.
