Local winners at Irish Hospitality Awards

THE second Irish Hospitality Awards welcomed 200 guests at the Crowne Plaza in Dublin on Tuesday in a celebration of the Irish hospitality industry.

Mayo businesses scooped a number of awards, which are a true reflection of high standard and customer service as they are chosen by members of the general public.

The black tie event was hosted by Klara McDonnell who welcomed on stage talented individuals and businesses from the hospitality sector, acknowledged for constantly delivering memorable experiences and high-quality services to their clients.

Several of the awards were split into local regions to ensure the diverse range of hospitality businesses from across Ireland are recognised for their exceptional work.

The list of winners included the following:

Romantic Hotel of the Year: Ashford Castle (Cong)

Boutique Hotel of the Year: The Lodge at Ashford Castle (Cong)

Bed & Breakfast of the Year West: Rocksberry Bed & Breakfast (Castlebar)

Pub/Inn of the Year West: Guiry's Bar (Foxford)

Casual Dining Restaurant of the Year West: House of Plates (Castlebar)
