Taoiseach Leo Varadkar to visit Mayo on Friday

AN Taoiseach Leo Varadkar, Minister for Rural and Community Development, Michael Ring, and Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine Michael Creed, along with other members of the Cabinet, will host a special forum on ‘Creating Stronger Rural Economies and Communities’ on Friday in Westport.

The event takes place in the Town Hall Theatre, with registration at 11.45 a.m.

Rural areas make a major contribution to Ireland’s identity and to the overall national development, in economic, social, cultural and environmental terms.

This event, with a keynote address by an Taoiseach Leo Varadkar, will explore how rural Ireland can play an integral and dynamic role in our national development.
