LEADER funding for Siamsa Sráide

SWINFORD'S Siamsa Sráide festival is to receive €12,022 in LEADER funding.

The street festival supports history and heritage, environment, arts and crafts, music, youth, Gaeilge, sport and enterprise in Swinford.

The funding will be provided by Minister Michael Ring’s department and directed through the Mayo LEADER Local Action Group.

Said Minister Ring: “I’m delighted to announce this funding for Siamsa Sráide. This is a wonderfully run festival which provides much entertainment and economic benefit to Swinford.

“I have no doubt that this funding will be of great benefit to them and will be put to very good use.”
