Bank Holiday weekend death notices in Mayo

THE following deaths have taken place in Mayo over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Deepest sympathy is tendered to the bereaved families.

JOYCE FOY, AUGHAGOWER

Joyce Foy (née Dixon), Aughagower, Westport.

She is deeply regretted by her husband Vincent, daughter Ann-Marie (England), sons Michael (Westport), Sean (England), James (England), Patrick (England), Vinny (Westport),Mother Winnie, brothers and sisters, son-in-law and daughters-in-law, grandchildren, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Her remains will be reposing at her residence on Tuesday evening from 5 o clock until 7 o clock.

Mass in St Patrick's Church, Aughagower, on Wednesday at 12 noon with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

NORA KILBANE, ACHILL

The death has occurred of Nora Kilbane, Dooagh, Achill, at her residence.

In her 98 year, she will be sadly missed by her daughter Ann-Marie, (Dooagh and Killala), son Michael (Dooagh), son-in-law Pat Nealon, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Her remains will repose at St. Colman's, Keel, Achill, this evening (Monday) from 4.30 until 7 o' clock.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning in St. Patrick's Church, Pollagh, at 11 o clock, followed by burial in Slievemore Cemetery.

MARTIN MCDONNELL, BALLYCASTLE

Martin McDonnell (Pav), Main Street, Ballycastle.

He is sadly missed by his wife Kathleen, sons Damien, Martin, Malcolm, and Seamus; daughters Marie and Kerrie, sons-in- law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, neighbours, relatives, and friends.

Reposing at Lynn's Funeral Home, Killala, on Tuesday from 5 p.m. with removal at 8 p.m. to St. Bridget's Church, Ballycastle, arriving at 8.45 p.m.

Mass on Wednesday at 12.30 p.m., followed by burial in Ballycastle cemetery.

PADDY O'DONNELL, WESTPORT

Paddy O'Donnell, Ardoley, Westport.

Predeceased by his sister Mary Garner (USA), Paddy will be deeply regretted by his wife Eileen and his step-sons David Horan (Galway) and Michael Horan (Westport), daughter-in-law Caroline, grandsons Ryan and Daniel, brothers Seamus and Martin (UK), sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at McGing's Funeral Home, Westport, this evening (Monday) from 5 until 7 p.m..

Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. in St. Mary's Church Westport with the funeral proceeding to Aughavale Cemetery.

MARY (PHIL) LAWLESS, CASTLEBAR

Mary (Phil) Lawless (née Mc Hale) Ballymacragh, Westport Road, and formerly of Ballynew, Castlebar.

Predeceased by her husband Johnny and brothers Mike, John and Pat, she is deeply regretted by her sons John (Ballymacragh) and Ronnie (Swinford), daughter Assumpta (Dublin), grandchildren Mark, Louise, Laurena, Simon and Ben, daughter in law Breege, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Burial took place in the Old Cemetery, Castlebar, after Requiem Mass today (Monday) at the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar.
